Alexandria - old town

This is where Solveig stayed as an Au-pair about 12 years ago, in Alexandria. I visited for 2 weeks at the end of her stay, and its amazing to see it again. I remember sitting in there looking out at a woman trying to park her car. It was not pretty. But then..trying to find a spot tonight..I can kind of understand why she bumped the other cars to squeeze in. I guess the parking situation hasn't changed ;)



Chadwicks! This place was still here, so we went in for dinner (several hours later, and I'm still full) Had nachos, since I had that here for the first time all those years ago. I picked the jalapenos off, as I did back then :) Good stuff!

The humidity is not at all as bad as I remembered, it's still VERY warm midday, but at the time these pictures were taken, the temperature was absolutely lovely. Alexandria is a very beautiful place! Go there if you get the chance.
